I ran a $60,000 business my first summer and made $12,000. My second summer I ran a $300,000 business and made close to $20,000. Some of the skills that I learned from Young Entrepreneurs were leadership, accountability, people skills and generally just being more prepared for the job market than any of my other peers. The benefits from this experience that I’ve gotten are really endless, there are a lot of people that I am in contact with today that are really important parts of my network that I wouldn’t otherwise know. I’ve gotten opportunities that I wouldn’t have gotten otherwise.
